The Alt key in Excel for Mac
On a Mac, the Alt key is Option. RibbonKeys draws the Windows Alt-key letters over Excel's ribbon, so tapping Option and typing H O I fits the column width, as Alt H O I does on Windows.
RibbonKeys is a menu-bar app. Tap Option by itself, or hold it with the first letter. The letters appear over the ribbon, including the items of a dropdown and the submenus under it. Esc steps back one level. The menu keys of Excel 2003 work as well, such as E S for Paste Special, and Ctrl+U underlines, as on Windows.
