Paste values in Excel for Mac

Option, then H V V, pastes values in Excel for Mac with RibbonKeys, the same sequence as Alt+H+V+V on Windows. H opens the Home tab, V opens Paste, and V is Paste Values, which that menu shows when cells are on the clipboard.

Home, Paste, Paste Special is H V S, and that opens the dialog. The older menu keys E S open Paste Special from the Edit menu, and V in the open dialog is Values.
